The votes have been counted!
Hi to all chaintists,
Just to inform you all, every country has sent in their votes, all of the votes have been counted and the newsflash has been recorded last Friday as planned!
So, tomorrow we can publish the ECR-2013-newsflash in which we will announce the winner
of this years competition!
This newsflash will be published on the blog at Monday February 4th at 11:00
Brussels time, so allof you get to know their position in the final ranking then.
We will show you the European Chain Reaction 2013 then too, and it will be a real nice one, since you all were extremely creative this year! I hope all of you will be pleased with the outcome!
On Tuesday I will upload an overview in a votes-table, so all of you can see how many points you received from which countries. (I won’t publish this on Monday to hold the excitement. Now all of you are obliged to watch the newsflash if you want to know your place in the rankingJ!)
Best wishes,

( our memento from our unfinished funny preparations)
now, as a big THANKS to my pupils who didn't succeed in finishing the second half of our Chain reaction called: 'MEET OUR LEGO TOWN Zadar, Croatia'We've decided to make a Smilebox just to show that we did have a lot of motivation and ideas to do something very visualised, realidstic-our Zadar peninsula in a Chain reaction. Unfortunately, I got ill and this is our memento to fantastic, creative moments spent with me and my class 4b (+ Lea ).
THE SHOW MUST GO ON-anyway! CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoping you all a lot of success! If it were me, I would give each and every one of you the maximum points! FANTASTIC CHAIN REACTIONS IN 2013!
Much love from Zadar, Croatia
Ksenija Vidmar-Nincevic & my motivated team
PS: we're hoping you'll find our trials as a good funny show-time: we will never forget our clumsiness & trials...

THE VOLCANO CHAIN FROM ICELAND 2013
6th grade from Flataskóli in Iceland
Dear partners
Here is the chain from Iceland this year. We are going to
call it „Volcano“ because we life on a volcano island, so if we are not getting an
eruption naturally we make it ourselves. Viktor, one of our boys, got that excellent idea
to make an eruption chain and it cost a lot of speculations about how to fix it
and you can see the result on the video. We put baking soda, water, red colour
and soap into the “mountain” and the vinegar in the bowl made the volcano erupt. We made our chain over and
over again until we managed to let it work through the whole way and we are very proud of our little
volcano chain J
Greetings from 6th grade in Iceland and their teachers

BULGARIA - THE EUROPEAN CHAIN REACTION 2013
Nine Bulgarian children aged 5-6
years have worked together as a team and fully unaided have created
their chain reaction with toys from the school. We hope you will
enjoy their achievements and will like them.
While the children were
working on project European Chain Reaction 2013, they were amassing
scientific experience, were really happy and were having great fun.
Have fun watching the video!
We wish all success!

2013 European Chain Reaction Turkey
Hello dear friends,
We are the last minute partner of this project. We are only
6 years old . After we had watched your videos wanted to join this project .
Unfortunetly, we had so little time :( We set this old cassettes ourselves
and our teachers helped us a little :) The weather is cold and we decided light
our stove. We enjoyed so much. I hope you enjoyed too.
With Love,
Little Bees

ECR 13 - Scotland
We present our technical chain reaction- which has been 100% created and put together by the pupils of primary 6. They received absolutely no help from adults at any point. There are admittedly some imperfections, but we are nonetheless very happy once again to have taken part in the project.
We hope you like it, and wish all teams the best of luck in this year's contest. We are certainly enjoying watching all the videos appearing!

ECR13 - Germany - UP and DOWN
ECR13 - Germany - UP and DOWN from FSK on Vimeo.
UP and DOWN, this year's title for our chain reaction miraculously intertwined with
some difficulties on trying to put the video online.
Strangely, the VIMEO website was down for a day, so our video had to be uploaded
to the other big video platform for the time being.
Now we are back to normal, but just in case...
